I'm flying to DC. What should I know before I book my flight?

We recommend flying into DC by 10am on Monday, Feb. 23 and departing after 8pm on Tuesday, Feb. 24 in order to participate in all State Summit events. The most convenient airport is DCA (Reagan National Airport) as there is a Metro train running directly between the airport and convention center.

How do I get to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center/AV State Summit?

The Washington Convention Center is located at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW on the corner of M St. and 7th St. NW. The Hampton Inn Washington Downtown Convention Center is approximately two blocks away. We recommend using public transportation for those outside of walking distance. Click here for a map of the convention center/State Summit locations

Metro: The Mt. Vernon Square/7th St. Convention Center metro stop (yellow/green lines) is located on site at the convention center. Enter through the doors at the top of the escalator and security guards will direct you to the State Summit rooms. Click here for information about using the Metro rail system and purchasing fare cards. Click here for a map of the Metro rail system.

From the Hampton Inn (901 6th St. NW): Head north on 6th St. NW. Turn left at M St. NW. Use the entrance at the corner of M & 7th St. NW.

Parking: There are several parking garages in a three block radius of the convention center available on a first come, first serve basis. There is no reserved parking for the AV State Summit.
